With reference to your letter of the 23rd March,
(No. A 1752/1752/45), transmitting copy of a letter
addressed to the Colonial Office on the subject of alleged
discrimination against United States interests in Hong
Kong, I am directed by the Board of Trede to state that
they would be glad, should Secretary Sir Austen Chamberlain
have no objection, to have an opportunity of seeing the
draft of the proposed raply to the United States Embassy in
this matter.
